The truth about slavery, that you weren't taught in school
I'm gonna keep this rather brief, in hopes that any curious readers may use as a jumping off point for their own research. It includes some links to literature from various academics. Trigger warning: if the truth is something you cannot bear, then exit this essay now. But you have likely been mislead in school when it comes to the history of slavery. The reasons why are complex, and understanding the nuance of the situation is crucial for disseminating truth from fiction in your future studies, as this subject is controversial.
My friends, the anti-white rhetoric, is a game of political propaganda, intended to mislead younger generations for the gain of the wealthy governing class. One who believes to be a victim, becomes a victim of themself, and through undeserved affirmation, acquires a highly detrimental learned helplessness. This ironically, makes for a perfect society of slaves. Let me explain.
African American slavery during the trans-atlantic slave trade was a tragic, gruesome and shameful period of history. But what if I told you, it isn't "white people" that should have fingers pointed at them. Firstly, it is a fact plain and simple, that every single race, has at one point enslaved others, and every single race has at one time or another been a slave. I know I know, its not exactly pleasant to hear.
This by no means, is meant to imply any approval of historical slavery, but this generalized distaste for all white Europeans is detrimental for societal interrelations, and that's a big problem.
Here are some seldom mention facts that were left out of your history books:
• African slaves were already slaves, and would have remained slaves regardless of Europeans getting involved. They were previously enslaved by Muslims and other Africans belonging to competing tribes, essentially prisoners of tribal wars. Europeans traveled to Africa and purchased slaves from black/muslim slave-masters, and brought them to Europe and the New World (USA).
• The presence of dark skinned peoples in the East Indies, formerly known as the Maroon/Moorish peoples, were actually a result of a load of slaves who resisted enslavement, and collectively attacked white settlers, who eventually abandoned them. They then settled throughout Central America and the nearby islands. They often (but not always) made relations with other natives, the result was the eventual native races known today as modern Jamaicans, Cubans, etc etc.
• Overall, during these years, about 2% of Europeans in America actually owned slaves. Running a plantation was only possible for affluent, wealthy entrepreneurs. Like it is today, 98% of free peoples live in lower classes, about 75% of them living in mild to severe poverty. You are not a descendant of a slave owner unless you were born into a millionaire/billionaire family bloodline, full stop. Facts.
• White people were enslaved many times through history. Two well recorded examples include enslavement of the Irish, and enslavement of the British by Muslim pirates off the Barbary coast. Not to mention the hundreds of years of British feudalism and serfdom, which are forms of slavery. I mean, the Slavic peoples, are white skinned. The very word "slave" etymologically comes from the land name of Slovakia. And of course the alleged enslavement of Jewish peoples, though they claim to not be white, soo, do with that info what you will.
Below in the comments, I will post some docs fir further research if you want to know more on this. These are facts people. The elites want a race-war, we must refuse to provide this to them. Their narratives promote racism, not lessen it. The world is full of injustices, and we could all work together to better them. But we cannot bully the entire white race into submissive shame. They deserve to be proud of their race, they deserve to have their own culture, and they are not immediately supremacists for having those beliefs, any more than other races are supremacists for their national pride. Equality comes through love, not hate. stay informed people, be skeptical, and stay healthy. -RSD
